Position SummaryAs a Records Clerk, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and organized client records through various methods such as mail, fax, imports, microfiche, and physical files. Your primary duties will include sorting, filing, retrieving, and updating various types of records. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that information is readily accessible and properly managed, supporting the efficient operation of our business processes. Key Responsibilities
  • Sort and classify incoming records according to established procedures.
  • Maintain client records via mail, fax, imports, microfiche, and physical files ensuring consistency and organization.
  • Update existing records with any relevant changes or additions.
  • Provide support to other departments by organizing and retrieving necessary documents.
  • Participate actively in training and development activities.
  • Adhere to all applicable laws and regulations in regards to record management.
  • Comply with all company policies, procedures, and practices.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling records.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Dependable and a self-starter.
  • Ability to maintain composure under pressure.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in using computer applications and database software for record-keeping.
