We are seeking a Records Coordinator who is responsible for maintaining the office's records in a complete and orderly manner, according to the company's filing systems.
Job Duties:
- Perform accurate data entry of file information into the Records Management Database
- Use computers, scanners, copiers and other office equipment to maintain, update, and create new files
- Perform data entry tasks,updates existing records and maintain company archives.
- Retrieves information from the filing system when requested
- Disposition and destruction of records using shredders and other equipment
- Must fully adhere to Firm confidentiality standards
Job Requirements :
- High school diploma or GED
- 1 to 3 years of experience in an active law firm records management environment is required.
- Must be willing to work on site
- Must be willing to work in the file room and perform shredding activities.
- Must be able to lift at least 75 LB
- Knowledge of Records management systems such as; FileTrail. Net Documents, IM Connect is a plus
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a proven ability to collaborate within a team
- Effective verbal and written communication skills, especially in client interactions
- Knowledge of Scanning documents for digitization
