Job Description:
Akkodis is seeking a Records Specialist for a Contract job with a client in Atlanta, GA. The candidate will oversee day-to-day operations in the Records Room, ensuring accurate document management, including RFID tagging and retrieval, and will troubleshoot and recommend improvements to processes. Rate Range: $18/hour to $20/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors. Records Specialist job responsibilities include:
  • Managing day-to-day operations of the Records Room, ensuring proper maintenance and organization of records.
  • Participating in the creation, tagging, retrieval, and re-shelving of records, ensuring accurate documentation in the database.
  • Troubleshooting and recommending process improvements to meet client timelines and enhance efficiency.
  • Ensuring compliance with corporate policies, regulatory requirements, and best records management practices.
  • Generating reports and maintaining effective communication with all departments regarding record management processes.
  • Assisting in training team members on records management procedures and maintaining a high level of organization.
Desired Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent (4 years of college preferred).
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a professional office environment, preferably in a file or records clerk capacity.
  • Previous experience in a client service-oriented field is preferred.
  • Ability to lift to 30 lbs consistently and work in a physically active environment.
