Clementine Cherry Hill, located in Cherry Hill, NJ is a residential treatment program exclusively for adolescents seeking treatment for Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia Nervosa, Binge Eating Disorder, or Exercise Addiction.

At Clementine, we support adolescents and their families on the path to full recovery by preparing each adolescent to navigate the challenges of life free of the eating disorder. We provide the empathy, education, and support to families as partners in the recovery process. We help each adolescent to replace the eating disorder with healthy skills and a deep understanding of how to live a life that reflects their own unique individuality.

We are seeking a Recovery Coach to join the Clementine team.

The Recovery Coach position is responsible for providing daily care and supervision of the children, direct patient support, as well as therapeutic interventions. Therapeutic interventions will be conducted in adherence to the philosophy and principles of Monte Nido & Affiliates. Inform the social service staff members or director of any incidents that may impact on the child's treatment planning.

Anticiapted schedule: Wednesday/Friday 6p-6a and Sunday 6a-6p

Responsibilities Include::

Essential Duties and Responsibilities1. Responsible for providing a safe, comfortable environment and therapeutic milieu for patients.2. Models therapeutic eating habits with clients by eating provided programmatic meals and snacks aligned with company's nutrition philosophy to completion throughout shift.3. Responsible for transporting patients to and from facility safely and in a timely manner, in a vehicle that is provided by facility, and on rare occasion, will be asked to use their personal vehicle.4. Monitors patient safety (including eating disordered behaviors) during the program day and intervenes with recovery-focused directives when appropriate.5. Participates in and monitors daily meals and snacks with patients, including the preparation of said meals. Facilitates Meal Pre-Planning and Meal Process Groups.6. Monitors bathroom activities and break times during the day.7. Monitors patient safety throughout the night shift. This includes conducting 15-minute safety checks.8. Facilitates and monitors patient safety in daily and weekly outings for meals as well as group activities.9. Documents in daily reports and patient meal logs, all information, interactions, communications, behaviors and interventions in a timely fashion.

Other Duties and Responsibilities1. Participates in weekly to bi-weekly staff meetings to continue personal and professional growth as well as building cohesion amongst the treatment team.2. Demonstrates knowledge and awareness of a patient's total needs as a person, and addresses psychosocial, physical, developmental, spiritual, and cultural issues as appropriate for each individual.3. Has working knowledge of the facility's fire, disaster, and infection control programs.4. Adheres to and follows the Monte Nido & Affiliates policies and procedures, including work schedule, time and attendance, and time off.5. Uses tact and sensitivity in communicating effectively and respectfully with patients, families, co-workers and all others.6. Provides for maintenance of confidentiality of patient records and communications.7. Maintains the values and philosophy of the mission statement of the Monte Nido & Affiliates.8. Recommends quality and/or process improvement initiatives in order to more effectively and efficiently perform the job functions of this position.9. In an emergency or declared state of emergency, may be required to stay onsite as a part of the emergency team until emergency has ended.10. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications::

Education:

  • High school or high school equivalency diploma and one year of experience working withchildren in a group setting; OR
  • Associate's or bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in a field that isunrelated to social work or psychology and six months experience working with children in agroup setting; OR
  • Associate's or bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university insocial work, psychology or a related field; OR
  • Meet the requirements of the State Department of Personnel for the position, if applicable.

Experience:

  • Two years office experience in health-related field preferred

License/Certification:

  • CPR certification required.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Age requirement:

  • At least 21 years of age.

Skills/Abilities:

  • Demonstrates Proficiency in Communication & Written skills.
  • Clean driving Record.
  • Must pass require criminal background checks.
  • Demonstrates strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under stressful conditions and be flexible in relation to department needs.
  • Knowledge of Joint Commission Standards.
  • Knowledge of State & Federal Statutes Regarding Client Confidentiality laws.
  • Knowledge of Drug Free Workplace Policies.
  • Knowledge of Workplace Violence.
  • Knowledge of Corporate Integrity & Compliance Program.
