Job DescriptionJob Title: Recovery PastorHope Center Ministries is a growing nonprofit discipleship recovery program with multiple centers across the U.S. Hope Center Ministries exists to lead addicts and their families to become fully devoted followers of Christ. We do this by helping those individuals bound by drug addiction and/or alcoholism find lasting freedom and sobriety through a relationship with Jesus Christ, which translates into seeing the lost saved, the saved freed, the freed restored, and the restored fulfilled.PositionThe Recovery Pastor provides their campus with discipleship, develops appropriate culture, oversees daily operation of the campus and family/support connections. Builds and manages volunteers, bible study teachers and community leaders.Discipleship Lay CounselingEnsure adequate time is spent with every resident via Individual and Group CounselingEnsures DNA Â for counseling is being followedEnsures counseling statements are entered in database correctlyFacilitates outings with approved Mentors & Family MembersEnsure bible study teachers are aware of and following HCM GuidelinesEnsure bible study teachers are qualified to teach bible studyEnsure resident obtains an appropriate sponsor Campus Culture Guides Community Leaders to carry out daily schedule for the purpose of maintaining StructureEnsures rest and promotes healthy funPromotes and leads a Godly EnvironmentCaring for needs of residentsPraying, Eating togetherEnsure all discipline is being done in love and properly documented in database Daily Operations Manage day to day operations at CampusDevelop and delegate responsibilities to Community Leaders/Staff/Apprentices/InternsEnsure all counseling requirements are being metOversee Phase I vocational trainingPlan weekend activitiesEnsure Scripture of the Week is postedUphold policies of Hope Center MinistriesEnsure all resident documentation is in database correctly and in appropriate time frame Family Support Coordinate Family Support NightsEnsure Foundation class is conductedEnsure all support groups are invited to events including church eventsPlan Holiday and Special Events for support groups Professional Development/Personal Growth Devotes time for spiritual, mental, physical development and well-being through personal disciplines.Attend courses/workshops/conferences as appropriate.Performance will be reviewed regarding developing and adding leaders, volunteers, bible study teachersSet realistic goals through casting vision, implementing strategies and acquiring fundingFull Performance Review performed Annually, minimum Knowledge/Skills Advanced knowledge of the BibleWorking knowledge of Celebrate Recovery 12 steps and 8 Principles (Beatitudes)Basic knowledge of human behaviorBasic knowledge of lay counseling and Drug & Alcohol rehabilitationGeneral knowledge of the 12-steps, 8-principles, HCM curriculum & for individuals and groupsConvey information effectivelyTime ManagementAbility to handle complaints, settle disputes & resolve grievances Additional Requirement Have accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior and must live a life according to Biblical standardsAgree with the Statement of Faith, Lifestyle Statement, and overall vision of Hope Center MinistriesSuccessfully pass background Screening, social media, personal & professional reference checksMeet any additional requirements as may be determined by Hope Center Ministries #J-18808-Ljbffr
