Our goal is to help individuals and families achieve personal change and improve their quality of life.Recovery Specialist Supervisor Requirements:Knowledge of detoxification, the disease concept, and self-help programs used to treat addiction, and or other behavioral health issuesAbility to maintain therapeutic boundariesAn understanding of ethicsAbility to set limits and enforce rules in a respectful mannerAbility to assess and resolve scheduling, training and personnel issuesAbility to communicate verbally and in writingBasic computer skillsCPR certification (provided in onboarding w/ HPAO)Certification in the High Point & Affiliated Organizations (HPAO) approved de-escalation programAnnual TB screeningRecovery Specialist Supervisor Job Duties:Compliance with federal regulations, 42 CFR Part 2, Confidentiality of Alcohol Abuse Policy and HIPAA regulationsAttends required meetings, mandatory trainings, and maintains competenciesPerforms all Recovery Specialist duties as necessaryResponsible for hiring, training, supervising, and disciplinary action/termination of RS staff and drivers as requiredResolves scheduling, training, staff competencies, and any staff concernsProvides direct supervision to all Recovery Specialists and Drivers as required and conducts monthly staff meetings as requiredWeekly and as needed review of cameras and completion of required documentationCompletion of mock codes and fire drills by self or assigneeReviewing and approving timesheets and time off requests of Recovery SpecialistsRoutinely review client charts to ensure that the structure and substance are in accordance with licensing and accreditation standardsMeet with Program Director regularly to review all program process issues and all issues pertinent to quality care and organizational health and viabilityAll other duties as assigned by the Program Director/DesigneeRecovery Specialist Supervisor Qualifications:Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent GED.
