Job Type Full-timeDescriptionArea Substance Abuse Council (ASAC) is seeking a full-time Supervisor for our women's residential treatment center in Cedar Rapids. In this role you will supervise, train and guide the Recovery Support Staff and Recovery Support Leads and work in partnership with our clinical team to deliver excellent patient care for adult women seeking treatment for substance use disorder.This role starts at $60,000 per year.as the Recovery Support Staff Supervisor you will:
  • Oversee the Recovery Support Staff team, interview and select candidates, provide training for new hires, coordinate team meetings with staff, and complete routine performance management processes.
  • Supervise medication control procedures, schedule exams and organize transportation for patients, and monitor all drug screen procedures within the program.
  • Work cooperatively with clinical and recovery staff members to ensure all patient information is documented and communicated to the appropriate teams.
  • Monitor patient bedrooms, lounges and laundry rooms for cleanliness, safety and compliance with licensure standards.
  • Create the staff schedule to ensure coverage needs are met 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, maintain on-call schedule for sick, vacation and holiday replacements and acts as a staff back-up for staff illness, vacations, or at any other time when appropriate coverage is not available to handle the immediate need.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality, in accordance with HIPAA and 42CFR.
RequirementsPreferred candidates will have two years of management experience in a treatment center or health related setting. This position requires a valid driver's license and the ability to pass an extensive background check Salary and BenefitsASAC offers competitive compensation, this role starts at $60,000 per year with additional compensation for candidates with extensive experience.
