Assist in maintenance and preparation of daily reports. Develop, schedule, and implement recreational programs, which meet the needs and interests of various age groups and participants with variable physical capabilities. Perform cashier duties as assigned. Responsible for summer lunch activities to include sorting of summer lunch packaging and disposal in recycling bins as assigned. Requires participation in basic first aid training.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES1. Responsible for carrying out programs as designed for recreational sports/activities.2. Enforce rules of facility and of recreational activity.3. Assist with classes/programs/events and supervise all program participants which includes but is not limited to: inclusion activities and actively engaging all participants at program sites.4. Lead and organize recreational recycling activities and arts and crafts projects at assigned locations5. Responsible for enforcing rules of a community facility and/or at program site.6. Schedule activities and arrange for use of a recreational facility in cooperation with assigned supervisor.7. Perform maintenance duties and set up areas for indoor and outdoor program use.8. Assist with classes/programs/events and supervise all program participants which includes but is not limited to: inclusion activities and actively engaging all participants at program sites.9. Assist in maintaining daily reports of transactions as when assigned.10. Incumbent(s) in this classification may handle sensitive and/or confidential records, plans, documents or decisions that require maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information. 11. Employee must successfully complete the post-offer employment medical examination, including a color acuity test. (Cannot be colorblind.) Must complete a background investigation.2. Employee must comply with the safety guidelines of the County.3. Employee must complete required FEMA training(s) as assigned to position.4. Employee must participate in basic first aid; cardiopulmonary resuscitation, (CPR) and automated external defibrillator, (AED) skills training.WORKING CONDITIONS1. Works with direction and with select groups.2. Work performed both indoors (60%) and outdoors (40%).Worker will be exposed to natural weather conditions when working outdoors.3. Duties will be performed on sand, gravel, asphalt, grass, wood floors and tile, all of which may be wet or dry.4. Required to drive multi-passenger vehicles as needed.5. Required to work variable hours.6. Work hazards are those normally encountered in the instruction or participation in sports activities.7. May be required to drive multi-passenger vehicles as needed if licensed and cleared through County processes.EQUIPMENT, TOOLS AND MATERIALS1. Sports equipment such as used in baseball, basketball, football, soccer, tennis, etc., and various arts and crafts supplies are utilized in the performance of essential duties.2. Equipment and materials typically used in the performance of clerical duties include telephone, computer, copier and basic office supplies.3. Equipment typically used in performance of maintenance duties includes mops, brooms, buffer, cleaning supplies, solutions and equipment.
