Recreation Beach Manager

Crestview Management, LLC. is currently seeking an energetic Recreation Beach Manager for The Hilton Clearwater Beach Resort and Spa, in Clearwater Beach, Florida. Qualified candidates should possess at least 3-years Beach Management in a supervisory capacity with an emphasis on supervision of beach employees, guests, to support operations of the beach activities and labor costs.

Essential Functions:

* The Beach Manager is leading the beach team.

* This person is responsible for the business performance of the beach area.

* Beach Management combines strategic planning and day-to-day management activities.

* Managing and coordinating various recreational programs and events to ensure an enjoyable experience for our guests.

* Develop and implement recreational programs and activities for guests of all ages.

* Manager the daily operations of recreational facilities including scheduling, maintenance, and cleanliness.

* Coordinate special events such as holiday celebrations, and themed parties.

* Supervise recreation staff, providing guidance and support as needed.

* Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols for all recreational activities

* Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints in a professional manner

* Prepare reports on recreational activities, and attendance.

Skills and Abilities:

* Professional communication skills

* Strong written and verbal communication sills

* Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively

* Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction

* Proficiency in shift management and scheduling

* Ability to hand cash transactions and maintain accurate records

* Previous experience in a resort or hospitality setting is a plus

* Strong supervisory skills with the ability to motivate and train staff members

* Knowledge of Microsoft Office - MS Word and Excel

* Ability to prioritize tasks accordingly

* Ability to multitask

* Ability to provide excellent customer service

* Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities

* Stand Up Meetings with staff

* Provide general public assistance, instruction and/or guidance for guests and staff

* Other duties assigned

Experience:

* Lifeguard: 1 year (Preferred)

* Supervising experience: 1 year (Preferred)

* Management: 3 years (Preferred)

* Guest services: 2 years (Preferred)

Availability:

* Must be available to work, days, evenings, weekends, & holidays

Physical Aspects of Position includes but not limited to

* Frequent standing and walking throughout shift

* Occasional lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs.

* Comfortable working in extreme weather conditions, such as heat, cold and/or rain

Grooming/Uniforms

* All employees must maintain a neat, clean and well-groomed appearance
