The City of East Grand Forks is now accepting applications for Recreation Coordinator
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree with coursework in Sports and Recreation Management, Recreation and Tourism, or related field and considerable experience working in parks and recreation with increasing responsibility Two years of experience; or Equivalent combination of education and experience.
Responsibilities include: Manages all aspects of recreation programs offered to residents. Duties include creating programs, planning, preparing and scheduling for all programming, hiring and supervising seasonal employees, completing all communication between office and participants. Creates and completes follow through with recreation program registration. Ensures all visitors are treated fairly and maintains a safe and clean working environment. Prepares financial reports on a monthly basis and operates budget. Work is performed under the general direction of the Park and Recreation Superintendent.
Applicants may be required to take written, oral or other examinations deemed necessary.
