The W Management Group LLC - Recreation Director

Location: Belle Harbor, New York

Overview:

The W Group is looking to hire a Recreation Director with a Yes I can attitude. We have our eye out for a compassionate, imaginative, and energetic candidate. This isa full-time position with the following schedule:

Schedule:

Sunday through Thursday, or Tuesday through Saturday, 11am to 7:30pm.

Qualifications:

• Associates Degree and/or 2 years experience in senior care or recreation coordinating.
• Experience, knowledge, and skill in the field of Recreation, including outings, art, music, dance, trivia, games, exercise, movies, literature, and poetry.
• Ability to work with, communicate, and understand residents and staff.
• Ability to perform all types of recreational activities.
• Ability to follow instructions, speak clearly, and lead activities in large groups, small groups, and 1-to-1 settings.
• Ability to get residents involved and excited about programs and activities.

Job Responsibilities:

• Organize activities for the facility's residents.
• Develop and implement all of the center's services and activities.
• Coordinate services with community agencies and resources.
• Other duties as needed or required by the Administrator.
