St. John's Residence for Boys is seeking a full-time, permanent Recreation Manager for our RTC program.This is a full-time, 35-hour week, Mon-Fri with some evening/weekendsEducation Requirements: HS Diploma/ GED required w/minimum 2-years supervisory experience and knowledge of child welfare; AA or some college preferred w/minimum 1-year child welfare and at least one-year supervisory experience.Job Summary: The Recreation Manager is responsible for supervision of the Recreation Specialist and reports to the Director of Residential Programs. The incumbent is overseer of the recreational services provided to resident youth, while ensuring safe, appropriate and innovative program activities. Assumes responsibility for equipment and supplies needed to facilitate scheduled programs/planned activities.
