As a key member of the regional leadership team, you will be responsible for:
- Planning, instructing, coordinating, implementing, and evaluating activities for clients.
- Collaborating with leadership on daily therapeutic activity programs, ensuring that clients have opportunities to develop essential life skills.

Key Responsibilities: - Create and manage the annual event budget for the geographical region.
- Participate in fundraising activities to secure budget dollars for events.
- Schedule and oversee recreation sessions, creating weekly activity logs and assessments.
- Supervise clients during recreational activities, promoting self-esteem and positive behaviors.
- Develop and implement an annual recreational plan for activities.
- Complete Crisis Prevention Training annually and attend training on Trauma Informed Care.
- Foster a safe and nurturing group climate focused on clients' emotional and developmental needs.
- Maintain discipline and group control, reporting any unresolved conflicts to a supervisor promptly.
- Be available to work some evenings and weekends as needed.
Education, Experience, and/or Credential Qualifications: - Bachelor's Degree in a related field plus one year of experience leading recreation or work training programs with facility client population preferred.
- Expertise in Sports, Coaching, Therapeutic Recreation, Job Corps, Outdoor Adventure, or Personal Training preferred.
- Firefly allows substitution of two years of experience working with Intellectual Developmental Disabilities clients in place of a Bachelor's Degree.
Additional Qualifications: - Must be at least twenty-one (21) years of age to operate a company-owned vehicle.
- Must be at least twenty-three (23) years of age to operate a company-owned fifteen (15) passenger van.
- Current driver's license, acceptable driving record, and current auto insurance are required.
- Ability to perform CPR and First Aid as instructed in the CPR manual.
Physical Requirements: - Frequently required to sit and stand for extended periods (2-4 hours); walking may be required for short periods when conducting field-based activities.
- Must frequently use hands and fingers to write, type, operate a mouse, file documents, and otherwise handle documents.
- Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
