FocusTasks, Duties
- Perform tasks as directed by the Assistant Recreation Director and Recreation Director.
- Supervise and give direction to staff, leading them to provide exceptional experiences in a safe and enjoyable environment for guests and members of the resort.
- Responsible for creating, printing, and distributing all Activity Schedules in a timely manner.
- Handle patronage statistics and daily revenue numbers and ensuring numbers are entered daily into the DAUR spreadsheet.
- Responsible for completing fitness room safety / equipment checks.
- Ensure all closing duties are completed daily and money is deposited.
- Ensure all areas and equipment are locked up nightly.
- Assist in running activities, special events, sports tournaments, and other projects as needed; some events may require working outside for long periods.
- Assist guests in signing up for classes.
- Assist guests in rental of equipment.
- Ensure guests are properly filling out liability forms needed to participate in activities.
- Ability to enforce safety rules for facilities and activities.
- Interact in a professional and courteous manner while supervising youth and adults participating in activities.
- Receiving and resolving guest complaints.
- Handling money and making correct change for rentals.
- Maintain equipment.
- Handle minor maintenance issues as they arise at the facility.
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness of the resort amenities and facilities as needed.

- Alert Assistant Recreation Director to any issues that may require attention.
- Provide assistance to the Assistant Recreation Director and the Recreation Director as needed.
