DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Greet members and guests and direct them to appropriate area
* Answer phones and handle facility information requirements
* Maintain cleanliness of front desk and surrounding areas
* Interact with members and guests
* Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
* Demonstrate critical thinking skills and resourcefulness when handling problems that may occur.
* Reporting complaints, maintaining records and enforcing rules
* Being able to multi-task during high traffic operating hours
* Sell merchandise, memberships
* Communicate effectively with staff, members and guests
* Be a team player
* Maintain confidentiality
* Provide comfortable and inviting experience for members and guests
* Willing to work various hours including weekends
* Provide tours of the facility as requested
* Gym supervision
* Fitness equipment orientations
* Set up/tear down activities as determined Recreation Coordinator
* Assist with various programmatic activities
* Ongoing cleaning of facility and wiping down equipment
* Other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
* High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED) required.
* Two years of work experience with one year in customer service
* Administrative or clerical experience a plus
* Customer service, organizational, and time management skills
* Must respect Meskwaki cultural beliefs.
* Must be knowledgeable and proficient in PC word processing, Excel spreadsheet, Internet and email
* Prefer cash handling experience
* Must be able to meet and communicate with the public
* Must submit to and successfully complete background investigation.
SUPERVISION:
* Supervised by the Recreation Coordinator
SALARY LEVEL:
* Annual Salary Range: $33,280 - $37,356
