Position Type: Town of Southington/Temporary/SeasonalDate Posted: 1/2/2023Location: Town of Southington - RecreationJob Opportunities Available: Camp Counselors, Stagehands, Lifeguards, Pool ID Checkers, Tennis Instructors, Swim Instructors, Sports Officials, and Summer Youth Theater Program. Senior Center Bus Drivers.Overview: Plans, leads and/or implements a variety of recreational activities. May assist with department community events and athletic events.Essential Duties & Responsibility (Duties vary by position): Administers appropriate first aid to program participants; Assists other program staff with facility clean up following established guidelines; Responsible for proper documentation pertaining to each child including sign in and out sheets; Works as a team with other Recreation Camp Counselors; Responsible for following program schedules, guidelines and procedures; Refers all complaints and concerns to the Director/Head program Coordinator; Assist department staff with set up, implementation and take down/clean up of community events and athletic events Upholds all of the ordinances, policies and procedures set forth by the Town of Southington.
