If you are passionate about making a global impact and working with diverse cultures, we invite you to apply for the position of Recreational Therapist.Recreational Therapists collaborate with adapted physical education specialists to design and develop innovative leisure and recreational programs for our students. They utilize these recreational-based treatments to help regain or improve physical abilities, promote social well-being, and build confidence. Recreational Therapists work with a team of professionals and also assist our students in mastering all skills needed to achieve independence, including self-care, communication and social skills, and community engagement. Qualifications
  • TN Visa sponsored by NECC (must have citizenship supporting the requirements of a TN Visa)
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Willingness to help students who engage in challenging behaviors
  • Must be able to communicate and provide verbal instruction clearly with our students
  • Valid Driver's License with reliable vehicle
  • CPR training completion through NECC within 6 months of employment
  • Successful completion of NECC training - Physical and Verbal De-escalation training (CALM) and Medication Administration training (ability to get MAP Certified)
