This position is assigned a caseload within the Recreational Therapy (RT) Services Mobility Skills program or Social Skills program by the RT Director. Job responsibilities include the following and any other duties assigned:
- As a member of the treatment team, this position is responsible for assessing an individual's needs through a variety of RT assessment tools, writing goals and objectives, implementing RT interventions to address active treatment with mobility or social needs of the individual, and completing accurate and timely documentation for these interventions.
- May assist with the Clinical Internship Program as assigned and assists the RT Director in various administrative duties.
- Participates and assists in campus-wide special activities as assigned by the RT Director.

- Knowledge of co-occurring disorders and their implications for recreational therapy services are necessary.
- Experience with basic principles of group facilitation techniques, debriefing and behavior management skills is necessary.

- Experience in writing functional outcome goals based on interpretation of assessment results.
- Experience with assistive devices, technology and selecting activity modifications is necessary.

- Ability to maintain accurate and thorough documentation is required.
