Job Summary

As a Recruiter, you are responsible for full life cycle recruiting, which includes sourcing, scheduling, screening, and recommending candidates for placement. You will utilize established and creative talent acquisition methods to attract top talent and meet the staffing needs of the organization. Your role is crucial in ensuring that the right candidates are identified and selected to contribute to the companys success.

Responsibilities

- Candidate Sourcing and Screening

o Screen resumes and conduct interviews (by phone or in person).

o Administer assessments and perform reference/background checks.

o Make recommendations for hire or non-hire and deliver employment offers for exempt and nonexempt positions within your assigned territory.

o Use traditional and nontraditional resources (e.g., career fairs, online job fairs, community network events) to identify and attract quality candidates.

- Relationship Management

o Develop and maintain excellent relationships with internal and external clients to achieve staffing goals.

o Follow up with candidates and hiring managers to obtain feedback regarding the recruiting process.

o Communicate important employment information during the delivery of employment offers (e.g., benefits, compensation, non-compete agreements).

- Candidate Activity Management

o Manage current candidate activity in the applicant tracking system (ATS).

o Oversee the application/resume file and retention according to company policy.

- Professional Development

o Maintain memberships and affiliations with trade/professional organizations related to the industry.

- Perform any other duties as assigned or required to support the company's overall operations and objectives.

Requirements

All potential hires?are subject to pre-employment checks which include but are not limited to background checks, drug screenings, and motor vehicle record checks.

- Bachelors Degree (B.S. or B.A.) in business or Human Resources preferred.

- 1+ year of recruiting experience.

- Experience using applicant tracking systems (ATS) required; familiarity with ADP Recruiting Management is a plus.

Physical Requirements & Working Conditions

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job unless it causes undue hardship.

This position is classified as sedentary work, which requires the ability to remain stationary for extended periods while occasionally moving within the office to complete tasks. Physical demands include the ability to frequently lift and/or move objects weighing up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pounds. Manual dexterity is necessary for computer operation, writing, and handling materials. Clear articulation and voice control are essential for effective communication with both internal and external customers via telephone. Specific vision abilities essential for this role include close vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus.

While the role involves regular interaction with internal and external customers in a dynamic office environment, occasional exposure to shop environments and associated hazards may occur. The individual must effectively manage tight deadlines, shifting priorities, and a high volume of information flow while maintaining professionalism. Additionally, handling sensitive and confidential information is part of the job. Standard office equipment such as laptops and smartphones are regularly utilized, and noise levels typically range from low to moderate.

Travel Requirements: Overnight travel at short notice may be required, with travel expected to be up to 10%. Most travel will be local during business hours, although some out-of-area travel may also be necessary.
