- Teaneck, NJ : 411 Alfred Avenue, Teaneck, NJ (Monday-Friday 8am-5pm)
Job Functions & Responsibilities
- Assist with job postings, phone screenings, and scheduling interviews
- Assist with employment verification and background checks
- Assist with onboarding new hires
- Assist with new hire training and orientation
- Communicate with managers to understand hiring needs
- Assist with employee requests with questions about HR policies or procedures
- Assist with employee benefit questions such as health or 401K
- Answer calls, relay messages, and maintain equipment and supplies
- Maintain employee files, update databases, and other administrative tasks
- Contribute to initiatives that promote employee satisfaction including but not limited to planning and hosting events for employees
- Other tasks as assigned
Qualifications
- Must be well-organized and be able to coordinate multiple tasks and projects at the same time
- Good communicator
- At least one year of full-time experience in a human resources role
