Qualifications and Detail about the PositionSummary:Broad Function The Craft Recruiter is responsible for recruiting skilled craftsmen to meet current manpower needs. This position actively and passively recruits and screens candidates for final processing and hire through staffing centers. Responsibilities:Essential Functions
  • Promote, demonstrate, and instill Brock's Bsafe and Bbest culture in all aspects of the business.
  • Review workforce management report to understand current job openings.
  • Promote company and craft jobs in the local community.
  • Attend applicable job fairs and community activities to promote organization.
  • Build brand awareness through social media posts and networking at local community events.
  • Develop and maintain a strong network of contacts to identify and source skilled candidates.
  • Work with marketing department for assistance with postings and ads.
  • Contact individuals who applied through Applicant Tracking System as well as ex-employees who are in good standing with the organization.
  • Update applicant's record with notes from call and status of current work eligibility.
  • Clearly communicate to qualified candidates the next steps in hiring process.
  • Ensure candidates understand Brock's drug screening and background check policies.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with operations and staffing center management.
  • Track, monitor, and communicate status of recruitment efforts.

  • Working conditions include outdoor and indoor field, yard, and shop locations.
  • Working in an office environment.
  • Utilization of Personal Protective Equipment as necessary.
  • Some travel may be required.

  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrate high confidentiality and sensitivity while handling personal and protected information.
  • Self-motivated with ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to enter data accurately and efficiently.
  • Proactive and independent with ability to take initiative.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a professional and positive attitude.
  • A strong sense of urgency and the ability to work in an environment with time-sensitive deadlines.
  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office Suite
Education & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in business or equivalent work experience in a related field is preferred.
  • 2+ years of recruiting experience or 5 years of supervisory experience in craft field.
  • Knowledge of sourcing techniques using social media.
  • Applicant Tracking System experience is recommended.
  • Experience in the construction industry or similar industries.
