POSITION SUMMARYThe Recruiter will play a critical role in identifying, attracting, and hiring exceptional candidates to meet TRDI's needs. This role requires a proactive individual who can manage the end-to-end recruitment process, build strong relationships with hiring managers, and ensure a positive candidate experience. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for talent, strong organizational skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES•Fill all positions within 30 days of opening position. Manage the full recruitment cycle, including job posting, candidate sourcing, screening, interviewing, and hiring.•Develop and implement effective sourcing strategies to attract high-quality candidates.•Partner with hiring managers and department heads to understand their staffing needs and provide guidance on job descriptions, candidate profiles, and recruitment strategies.•Ensure a positive experience for all candidates by maintaining clear communication, providing timely feedback, and managing the interview process efficiently.•Maintain and update the applicant tracking system (ATS) to track candidate progress, manage job requisitions, and generate reports.•Stay informed about industry trends, labor market conditions, and competitor hiring practices to effectively position TRDI in the talent market.•Promote TRDI as an employer of choice through networking, social media, and industry events. Represent the company positively at career fairs and networking events.•Ensure that all recruitment practices comply with relevant employment laws and regulations. Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.•Conducts or acquires background checks and employee eligibility verifications.•Implements new hire onboarding.•Develop and foster relationship(s) with social service agencies serving people with disabilities and participate in job fairs associated with same agencies.•Travel to assigned areas to establish/nurture networks and facilitate assigned compliance components with employees.•Identify needs, partake in the development of and provide training components to assist job site management, as assigned.•Create and generate various reports.Collect and disaggregate data, accordingly, for appropriate decision-making process.•Perform other duties as directed by HR ManagerThe above statements describe the general nature and level of work being performed by individuals assigned to this classification. This is not intended to be an exhaustive list of all responsibilities and duties required of personnel so classified.QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTSSkills/Abilities and Knowledge Required•Strong interpersonal skills.•Ability to work in a team environment and/or when needed independently.•Ability to communicate orally and in writing in a clear and concise manner.•Ability to maintain confidentiality of information.•Ability to manage time effectively and handle both internal and external conflicts.•Detail oriented and strong organizational skills.•Advanced knowledge of local, state and federal employment laws and procedures.•Advanced knowledge of wage and hour laws.•Advanced knowledge of HRIS system.•Ability to travel to fulfill job duties.•Extensive working knowledge of Microsoft Office Package (i.e. Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.).ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPSThis position manages the Recruiting function and directly reports to the Human Resources Manager.EDUCATION, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE•3-5 years' proven experience as Recruiter, with a track record of successful placements and effective recruitment strategies.•Strong knowledge of recruitment best practices, labor market trends, and sourcing techniques. •BS/BA in Business Administration, Human Resources or related field (or equivalent experience).•Thorough understanding of different benefit plans (retirement, health & dental insurance etc.) and relevant regulations.•Experience with HRIS systems (e.g. UKG) and applicant tracking systems (ATS).•Understanding of data recording and analysis.•Excellent organizational skills.Additional Eligibility Qualifications•Ambitious and target focused with a drive to succeed.•Familiarity with HR software and tools.•Experience in recruiting in high-volume environments.•The drive to find creative avenues to source candidates.•Experience and knowledge of CBAs and contract negotiations and regulatory laws.•Experience in working with Community Agencies and/or individuals with disabilities.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSWhile performing the duties of this job individuals will sit for long periods of time working in front of a computer; lift or move objects weighting up to 20 pounds.WORK ENVIRONMENTThis job operates in a professional office environment.
