Overview:

The Recruiter will provide support for organizational hiring needs and will be the primary point of contact for locations throughout the state.

Responsibilities:
  • Attend and participate in daily Recruiter Status Update meetings in-person and/or Microsoft Teams to ensure continuous team building and communication.
  • Develop and maintain excellent relationships with internal and external clients to determine staffing needs and ensure achievement of staffing goals.
  • Partner with hiring managers to create job descriptions that accurately capture job duties and responsibilities.
  • Post and manage current internal and external job openings to attract qualified and experienced candidates.
  • Review resumes, screen candidates (by phone or in-person), administer appropriate assessments and make recommendations to hiring managers in a timely manner.
  • Schedule interviews for hiring managers, coordinate candidate communication and follow up to obtain feedback regarding the interview process.
  • Present and convey essential employment offer details, including benefits, compensation, and non-complete agreements, for both exempt and non-exempt position.
  • Coordinate and manage pre-employment process ensuring continuous communication with candidates and hiring managers.
  • Facilitate and manage monthly New Hire Orientation at Blanchard Machinery Corporate Office to integrate new employees to company culture, policies and procedures to ensure a positive new hire experience.
  • Utilize traditional and nontraditional resources, such as career fairs, on-line job fairs, community networking events, etc., to identify and attract quality candidates.
  • Manage internal transfer process, including screening, coordinating interviews with hiring manager, transfer offer letters, etc.
  • Communicate important employment information during delivery of employment offers (e.g., benefits, compensation, non-compete agreements).
  • Partners with hiring managers to ensure compliance with all federal/state laws and regulations, including affirmative action plan compliance.
  • 30% Travel required.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Associate's degree in related field (e.g. Technical or Business Education) required. Bachelors degree required, business or HR related field preferred.
  • 2+ years successful recruiting experience preferred. Experience in manufacturing, industrial equipment or related field preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft
  • Fluent in English and Spanish preferred.
  • Extensive knowledge of applicant tracking systems (ATS), social media and recruiting process workflows.
  • Demonstrated success in hiring top-tier candidates through diverse sourcing channels.
  • Confident communicator, strong presentation and collaboration skills.
  • Self-directed and committed to building a supportive, positive, and winning culture.
  • Professional demeanor and strong business acumen.
  • Results oriented and focused on continuous process improvement.
  • Able to adapt to changing priorities; meet deadlines while working under pressure.

Working Conditions

  • The physical environment requires the employee to work both inside and outside throughout the year.
  • Required use of personal protective equipment required (all PPE provided by Blanchard)
  • Position requires that the employee work on-site at designated location.
