Job Summary:

The recruiter develops, facilitates, and implements all phases of the recruitment which include but not limited to sourcing, screening and providing a shortlist of qualified candidates for various roles in Hanwha Vision America. The recruiter also requires to network online and offline with potential candidates to promote our company brand, reduce our time-to-hire and attract a diverse pool of qualified and capable talent for the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborates with hiring managers to understand the annual hiring needs and identify and draft detailed and accurate job descriptions and hiring criteria.
  • Advertises job postings on multiple recruiting sources: ADP, LinkedIn, Greenhouse, Zip Recruiter, Indeed, etc.
  • Sources and headhunts potential candidates through various platform such as LinkedIn and company-provided resume database subscriptions on relevant job boards.
  • Crafts and sends personalized recruiting emails with current job openings to passive candidates.
  • Screens applications and selects qualified candidates. Conducts screening calls and assessments to evaluate candidate's skills, experiences, proficiency, and culture fit within the organization.
  • Shortlists candidates based on qualifications, connects qualified candidates with hiring managers, and schedules interviews on behalf of hiring managers.
  • Manages candidates in the application tracking system (ATS) and keep information current and up to date. Provide the relevant reports as requested.
  • Advises hiring managers regarding salary negotiations with final candidates.
  • Collaborates with hiring managers and/or human resource team during the offer process, identifying and recommending salary ranges, incentives, start dates, and other pertinent details.
  • Attends and participates job fairs, recruiting sessions, trade shows, and industry conferences; runs company booth at job fairs.
  • Collaborates with the human resources team to stay informed about industry trends, salary benchmarks, and competitor analysis to ensure a competitive advantage in attracting top talent.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Human Resources or related field required.
  • At least 5 to 10 years Corporate recruiting experiences; managing all phases of the recruitment and hiring process required; prior recruiting experiences in surveillance industry preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with good negotiation tactics.
  • Thorough understanding of recruiting methods and best practices, as well as applicable policies and federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Hands-on experience with various interview formats (e.g. phone, Skype and structured).
  • Proficient with Applicant Tracking Systems and HR databases.
  • Solid knowledge of sourcing techniques (e.g. social media recruiting and Boolean search).
  • SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP preferred but not required.
  • SHRMs Talent Acquisition Specialty Credential preferred but not required.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to travel extensively on recruiting assignments; Travel up to 30%.
