JOB SUMMARY:

We currently seek an energetic full-time Recruiter who will be primarily responsible for recruiting high volume (non-exempt hourly) positions throughout the country. The selected candidate enjoys delivering exceptional customer service to internal and external partners and clients in an evolving professional environment. The Recruiter owns the candidate's experience including sourcing, interviewing, and on-boarding, while managing all stages of the employment process in the applicant tracking system. This will be a hybrid position and the selected candidate must reside within the Garda region where the position is assigned.

Responsibilities
  • Sources candidates using a variety of sourcing tools including but not limited to Social Networking Techniques.
  • Maintains familiarity with a variety of interviewing methodologies and assessment tools.
  • Screens and schedules candidates to meet with the hiring managers in the field.
  • Supports hiring managers during the interview process to ensure interviews are conducted effectively and professionally.
  • Provides recruitment and hiring support to candidates and hiring managers by maintaining the workflow in the Applicant Tracking System, including scheduling and monitoring the background check, drug screen, and on-boarding processes.
  • Stays current with subject matter expertise about basic employment law, guidelines, and policies. Coaches and guides hiring managers as needed with related knowledge.
  • Builds relationships with key stakeholders of targeted recruitment centers, such as college career counselors, military transition professionals, and other community members of influence to attract the right candidates.
  • Participates in Talent Management and Recruitment projects, programs, and events as needed. Occasional weekend work required.
  • Skills & Qualifications

    Candidates must meet the company's hiring criteria. Extensive pre-employment backgrounds checks are required. Drug tests and other testing may be required.

  • Bachelor's Degree or minimum two years of experience with a hiring authority or agency required. Prior experience in a high-volume hiring capacity for retail, banking, logistics, transportation, or security industries preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail required.
  • Ability to successfully juggle multiple requisitions at a time.
  • Applicant Tracking System (ATS) experience preferred.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint preferred.
  • Strong presentation skills, verbal and written communication skills, and interpersonal skills preferred.
  • Strong collaboration skills in order to accomplish a variety of tasks in a dynamic team environment.
  • Willingness to travel by car within the assigned region. Must be able to drive personal car or a rental car on a limited basis.
