We are looking for a strong Recruiter to join our talent acquisition team. As a recruiter, you will play a pivotal role in identifying and securing the best talent for our organization. You will complete the full cycle recruitment process which will include executing candidate identification and screening strategies to pre-employment/onboarding. You will be responsible for recruiting for the following positions: corporate (salaried), hourly, and CDL Truck Drivers. You will also partner with business leaders regarding the recruitment process and compliance, and provide support to candidates throughout the recruitment process, to ensure a great candidate experience. This position will report to the Manager, Talent Acquisition.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Partner with hiring managers and business leaders to understand staffing needs, job requirements, and candidate profiles for open positions.
  • Source, screen, and interview talent through UKG (ATS), as well as various job boards, social media, and sourcing websites.
  • Manage the full cycle recruitment process which will include posting job openings, extending offers and pre-employment.
  • Develop a pool of CDL Truck Driver applicants utilizing Tenstreet, cold calling, social media, job fairs, trade shows, internet postings, etc.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers on hiring decisions and coordinating interviews; handle all communication with prospective candidates.
  • Identify innovative ways to source candidates for hard-to-fill positions.
  • Partner with business leaders and/or hiring managers to forecast short and long-term hiring requirements.
  • Create and maintain the job description repository in collaboration with HR.
  • Participate in job fairs, college career fairs, networking events, and other talent acquisition events to boost company exposure.
  • Initiate and assist new hires with the onboarding process.
  • Build and maintain relationships with candidates, ensuring a positive and professional experience throughout the recruitment process.
  • Stay informed of industry trends, market conditions, and competitor practices to improve recruitment strategies.
  • Collaborate with HR team members to continuously improve recruitment processes and contribute to a positive workplace culture.
  • Ensure compliance with all employment laws and regulations.
  • Position Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Human Resources, or relevant field
  • 3-5 years of work experience as a Recruiter and/or Driver Recruiter
  • Strong knowledge of recruitment best practices and strategies
  • Strong experience with utilizing LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, Tenstreet and other applicant tracking systems
  • Truck driver recruiting experience, preferably with flatbed and steel industry related knowledge preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and applicant tracking systems
  • Strong presentation and communication skills and experience leading meetings for and presenting to a wide variety of stakeholders
  • Ability to thrive and prioritize in a dynamic, rapidly expanding business environment
