Job Specific CompetenciesRecruitment:After receiving approval for recruitment, coordinates targeted recruiting areas with hiring manager.Initiates and maintains relationships with universities, colleges, community organizations, and candidates.Sourcing and attracting candidates through various channels, including job boards, job fairs, social media, and networking events.Manages and maintains recruitment records and databases.Creates and places advertisements using various sources such as employment agencies, colleges and universities, newspapers, professional journals, professional associations and the Internet.Posts all job vacancies on the CVCH Website and Internal Employee email.Recruitment & Selection:Evaluates applicant skills and makes recommendations regarding applicant's qualifications to hiring manager.Creates interview selection criteria with hiring manager and coordinates training for hiring manager if needed on behavioral based interviewing.Trains and coordinates peer interview team.Greets and guides applicants to interview room.Manages Employee Referral process.In coordination with HR Assistant, arranges travel, if neededJob Descriptions:Responsible for maintaining all Job Descriptions in Performance ManagerMaintain job description spreadsheet.Provider Recruitment:Back up to the Provider Recruiter.General Duties and Responsibilities1. Performs other duties and tasks as assigned by supervisor.2. Expected to be prepared to start shift at scheduled time, meet attendance standards, and work the hours necessary to perform the essential functions of the job.3. Follows all safety policies and general housekeeping practices. Ensures the area and its equipment and supplies are neat, clean, safe and utilized appropriately at all times, and participates in emergency drills.4. Demonstrates sound work ethics, flexible, and shows dedication to the position and the community.5. Demonstrates a positive attitude, is respectful, and possesses cultural awareness and sensitivity toward clients and co-workers.6. Conforms to CVCH policies and Joint Commission and HIPAA regulations.Job SpecificationsEducation: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Management, Business, Public Administration or related field, with a concentration in Human Resource Management and increasingly responsible work experience preferred. Experience may be substituted for education.Licensure/Certifications: PHR or SPHR certifications preferred.Experience: Four (4) or more years as a Recruiter or Human Resource Generalist, or any similar combination of education or experience.Language Skills: English required.Essential Technical/Motor Skills: Must possess a strong aptitude for computer applications with considerable experience in general computer use, including Microsoft Word, Access, and Excel; and must be capable of proficiently operating human resource information systems software. Knowledge of standard office practices and record systems preferred. Highly developed interpersonal communication, written communication, and presentation skills. Must be capable of comprehending and presenting complex concepts with multiple implications in an easily understood fashion. Ability to interpret and analyze informational needs. Ability to gather data, compiles information, and prepares reports. Computerized database management experience preferred. General office skills (e.g., telephone etiquette, filing, copying, use of office equipment, preparation of meeting agenda and minutes etc.). Well organized under pressure.Interpersonal Skills: Adjusts to multiple demands. Takes on additional responsibilities when necessary. Exceptional teaming, consultative and strategic thinking skills. Self-starter. Demonstrated history in successfully managing multiple priorities, creative problem solving, and analyzing data in an organized fashion. Ability to represent the organization in a professional manner in a variety of settings, meet people with ease, and excellent communication skills. Possession of a strong customer-service oriented attitude necessary. Demonstrate strong organizational skills and effective use of time. Must work independently and establish priorities, organizing workload to complement the needs and deadlines of the organization. Demonstrated skill in developing and maintaining productive work teams. Ability to demonstrate personal integrity in all interactions. Excellent organizational, interpersonal and networking skills with large groups as well as with individuals are essential. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, customers, and the general public.Essential Physical Requirements: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to sit; use hands to feel or handle; and reach with hands and arms. The employee is required to stand, walk, and transport self to meetings. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 5 pounds. Must be able to analyze, reason, supervise, comprehend, evaluate, organize, effectively communicate, and handle the mental stress associated with the demands of the position. Some driving between satellite sites and meeting locations, as necessary.Essential Mental Abilities: Working knowledge of employment law and major HR functions. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to juggle multiple competing tasks and demands. Ability to read, comprehends, and analyzes documents, regulations, and policies. Ability to assess and evaluate documents to prepare and submit complete and succinct documents necessary to the job. Problem solving, and analytical skills are required with a heavy emphasis on detailed analysis of information to support actions. Working with minimal supervision; attention to detail, accuracy and concentration, and ability to maintain calm composure while performing multiple tasks.Essential Sensory Requirements: Essential sensory requirements include the ability to: read computer keyboard, monitor, and documents; prepare and analyze documents; read extensively; see, recognize, receive and convey detailed information orally, by telephone and in person; convey accurate and detailed instructions by speaking to others in person and by telephone.Exposure to Hazards: Worker is subject to inside environmental conditions on a frequent basis with moderate noise.
