Core One seeks anRecruiterto support the MARSOC R&A program.This position requires acurrent SECRET clearance .Primary ResponsibilitiesManages the complexity of large pools of qualified new working applicants (NWA), the daily use of the Recruiting Information System (RIS) database is required.Understands and executes Systematic Recruiting to gain NWA's, through telephone, emails and unit canvassing in the absence of a uniform Recruiter.Understands Marine Corps Orders and Directives that govern the MARSOC Recruiting Program.Responsible for driving the processing of all Command Screening Checklists and Special Operations (SO) Physicals by contacting all NWAs at a minimum twice monthly, prior to the applicant's approval to attend A&S.Maintains commitment with assigned applicants and assist the uniform recruiter with dissemination of information pertaining to A&S.May be required to travel to CONUS and OCONUS locations in support of the R&A mission as directed by the Assistant Operations OfficerRequired to interact directly with individual applicants and their parent commands.Required SkillsFormer USMC E-6 to E-9 with four years prior experience as a Marine Corps Recruiter or as a Unit Career PlannerCompletion of the Marine Resident or Non-Resident Staff Non-Commissioned Officer Career or Advance CoursePossess a secret clearance on day one of contract executionPossess a current passportShall have a complete understanding of all Marine Corps Forces Manpower Policies related to retention and lateral moves.Shall possess a working knowledge of MARSOC and the associated missions applicable to the Critical Skills Operator's and Special Operations Officer'sAbout Core OneOur mission is to be at the forefront of devising analytical, operational and technical solutions to our Nation's most complex national security challenges.
