- Develop and execute innovative sourcing strategies to attract top talent. Manage full-cycle recruiting processes for various roles.
- Ongoing research to implement new strategies and creative approaches for sourcing new talent through a variety of recruiting tools, including social media, job boards, online tools, and networking.
- Maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for future opportunities.
- Ensure recruitment practices comply with all relevant employment laws and regulations.
- Oversee a group of Sourcing Specialists providing strategy, guidance, and training.
- Contribute to the organization and leadership of Regional Recruiters.
Candidate Screening and Selection
- Review resumes and applications to evaluate candidate qualifications and fit.
- Conduct initial interviews and assess candidate qualifications. Schedule and coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
- Provide guidance regarding effective interviewing techniques to hiring managers.
- Manage the selection process, including reference checks, background screenings, and initial interviews to assess candidate fit and interest.
- Attend career fairs, networking, and recruiting events.
- Travel up to 10% of the time to participate in recruiting events and collaborate with company leaders.
Recruitment Strategy and Planning
- Collaborate within a small team and provide input on the overall direction of the recruiting strategy.
- Stay updated on industry trends and labor market conditions to make informed recruitment decisions.
- Communicate directly with hiring managers (Corporate Office and Store Managers) and create innovative recruiting plans for each hiring need.
- Ensure Store Managers have all the resources necessary, including a strong candidate pool, for new store openings.
Candidate Experience
- Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
- Provide timely feedback and communication to candidates.
- Manage the offer process including extending job offers, salary negotiations and onboarding.
Compliance and Leadership
- Maintain accurate records of all recruitment activities.
- Prepare and present reports on recruitment activities, successes, and challenges.
- Provide leadership guidance and support to Recruiting Coordinators and Recruiting Interns as needed. This includes but is not limited to development and coaching of Teammates to create a culture of engagement, collaboration, and teamwork.
- Fulfill mission statement by performing job duties with a high level of customer service while contributing to a positive team spirit.
- Special projects and other duties as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities This job has no supervisory responsibilities.Education and/or Experience
- Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications or a related field; and two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience required. Advanced degree preferred.
- Strong knowledge of recruitment best practices, employment laws, and HR trends.
- Proven experience as a professional recruiter or in a similar role required.
- Proficiency in using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and other recruitment tools and HR software.
- Operate with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.
