AT A GLANCE:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Recruiter to further our success as one of the largest and fastest-growing independently owned and operated Ashley Store licensees. Our environment is fast paced and high energy as we continue our rapid growth rate. The Recruiter role is responsible for sourcing candidates, ensuring an exceptional candidate experience, beginning to end, and overseeing administrative recruitment functions. The primary focus of this position will be to serve as a trusted resource and partner to support teams that bring world-class top talent into the organization. The Recruiter will collaboratively work across all areas of business within the organization on the following functional areas: job postings, sourcing, recruiting, screening, selection, and retention.
DAY IN THE LIFE AS THIS MEMORY MAKER:
- Responsible for developing innovative and strategic methods to source, evaluate, and ultimately hire external talent
- Continuous learning and development to be an expert in the business you serve
- Maintain robust pipeline of candidates while ensuring a quality candidate experience and effective flow of applicants
- Coordinate with Leadership Teams and Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition to identify key support needs with recruiting assignments
- Work with hiring managers to determine applicant screening criteria
- Maintain consistent and productive time management and communication
- Schedule interviews on behalf of hiring teams; follow up with candidates after interviews to ensure timely communication and reduce time-to-hire
- Ensure all documentation in regard to candidate pipelines, recruiting efforts, and onboarding are consistently up to date to maintain data integrity and accuracy
- Schedule, conduct, report and monitor all recruiting efforts
- Sustain accurate data collection and reporting on all recruitment activity
- To provide an excellent candidate experience, uphold processes that will ensure a smooth transition from hire through onboarding
- Ensure all company HR-related policies and federal and state laws are applied consistently
- Be a culture champion in both words and actions as you introduce future Memory Makers home to Broad River Retail
- All duties as assigned to support effective hiring practices
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
- Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field preferred.
- 1-3 years of agency staffing experience preferred
- Strong cognitive skills required; including the ability to learn quickly, handle multiple complex tasks simultaneously and be highly productive without needing much supervision
- Excellent English and grammar skills
- Ability to use business math concepts
- Must be team-oriented, get along well with others, and demonstrate a high level of sensitivity and interest in people
- Exhibit high degree of initiative and critical thinking skills to manage multiple priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced, deadline-driven, detail-oriented work environment
- Self-motivated, good organizational skills, detail-oriented, ability to prioritize, multi-task and meet deadlines, and a positive attitude
- Proficient in the use of Windows-based office software including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
WORKPLACE ENVIRONMENT:
While performing the duties of this job the employee is:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time.
- Required to work a hybrid work schedule reporting to the office in Fort Mill, SC as required by leadership with opportunity for remote days
