Job Description:

As a Recruiter you will be responsible for sourcing, attracting, and hiring top talent to meet the staffing needs of our organization. You will play a critical role in building a strong workforce and fostering a positive and productive work environment. This position requires a proactive approach to identifying and engaging potential candidates, as well as a strong understanding of the foodservice and distribution industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Talent Acquisition: Develop and execute effective recruiting strategies to attract qualified candidates for various positions within the company.
  • Candidate Sourcing: Utilize multiple sourcing channels, including job boards, social media, networking events, and employee referrals, to identify potential candidates.
  • Screening and Interviewing: Conduct initial phone screens, coordinate and conduct interviews, and assess candidates' qualifications and fit for the organization.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and provide guidance on recruiting best practices.
  • Candidate Experience: Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process by providing timely communication and feedback.
  • Offer Management: Extend job offers, negotiate terms, and facilitate the onboarding process for new hires.
  • Data Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all recruitment activities and candidate interactions in the applicant tracking system (ATS).
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Employer Branding: Promote company as employer of choice through various marketing and branding initiatives.
  • Reporting: Provide regular reports on recruitment metrics and performance to senior leadership.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelors degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of recruiting experience, preferably in the foodservice or distribution industry.

Skills:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with candidates and hiring managers.
  • Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment technologies.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
