Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Internal Recruiter to join our dynamic HR team. This role is pivotal in helping us identify, attract, and hire top talent for our CDL and AutoPilot driving positions. The ideal candidate will be adept at articulating the nuances of the drivers' roles, sharing the compelling story of Sweetie Boy Transportation, and working closely with our Onboarding Specialist to ensure a seamless recruitment process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Talent Acquisition: Source, screen, and interview candidates for AutoPilot and CDL driving positions, ensuring they meet our high standards and fit our company culture.
- Role Articulation: Clearly and effectively communicate the responsibilities, expectations, and opportunities associated with each driving position to potential candidates.
- Company Storytelling: Share the vision, mission, and values of Sweetie Boy Transportation to attract candidates who resonate with our company's ethos.
- Collaboration: Partner with the Onboarding Specialist to streamline the recruitment process, from initial contact through to hiring and onboarding.
- Candidate Experience: Maintain a positive and professional candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
- Reporting and Metrics: Track and report on recruitment metrics and provide insights for continuous improvement in our hiring practices.
- Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, compensation benchmarks, and competitive practices to effectively attract and retain top talent.
Qualifications:
- Experience with recruiting systems both internal and external.
- Proven experience as an internal recruiter, preferably within the transportation or logistics industry.
- Strong understanding of AutoPilot and CDL driving roles, including relevant qualifications and industry standards.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence candidates at all levels.
- Demonstrated ability to articulate complex job roles and company values effectively.
- Experience collaborating with onboarding and HR teams to ensure a cohesive recruitment and onboarding process.
- Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment tools.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
