Job Description:
Job DescriptionThe Recruiter will be responsible for the entire recruiting process from posting jobs, screening resumes, conducting phone screenings, coordinating interviews with hiring managers to placing qualified candidates in suitable roles. This role will interact with various business leaders across multiple lines of business including Investment Management, Development, Construction and more. The Recruiter will take a proactive partnership approach with hiring managers to define job requirements, understand business goals, and identify, source, screen and attract diversetalent.Reports to: Talent Acquisition ManagerDuties/Responsibilities: The duties listed below are an outline of the Recruiter's responsibilities and should not be considered an all-inclusive list. As the needs of the organization change, these duties may be modified as needed.
  • Create job requisitions/job postings and ensure the ATS is up to date.
  • Identify and implement efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the available role, industry standards, and the needs of the organization.
  • Cultivate positive relationships and collaborate with hiring managers to understand their needs and preferences.
  • Actively seek out potential candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, and professional networks.
  • Research job seekers and invite them to apply for relevant positions.
  • Build and maintain a network of potential candidates through proactive market research and ongoing relationship management.
  • Evaluate resumes and applications to identify suitable matches.
  • Conduct phone interviews to assess candidates' qualifications and fit for specific roles.
  • Coordinate interviews and follow up with candidates throughout the process to ensure a positive experience.
  • Communicate effectively and provide regular status updates to leadership and hiring managers.
  • Assist the Talent Acquisition team to achieve departmental goals and improve processes.
Education & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Five (5) + years recruiting experience in a complex recruiting environment and/or recruitment search firm.
  • Experience in Construction and/or Commercial Real Estate industry is highly desirable.
  • Experience with HRIS/ATS platform is required. Workday is preferred.

  • Ability to change between roles, tasks, and initiatives through changing business priorities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with good negotiation tactics.
  • Ability to create and implement sourcing strategies for recruitment for a variety of roles.
  • Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Familiarity with laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to hiring and recruitment.
  • Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn applicant-tracking software or other recruitment systems.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
