*Privileges based on occupancy and business levelsDefinition: The Recruiter is responsible for sourcing, recruiting, and evaluating job candidates, and for maintaining and growing a pipeline of candidates by networking with schools, agencies, organizations, and online via social media. The Recruiter will work closely with Hiring Managers and the Employment Manager to make hiring recommendations based on conducting sound interviews and work closely with the HR Team to confirm parameters of employment offers and ensure offers are consistent across the resort. The Recruiter extends offers of employment to hourly associates and assists with onboarding new hires.General Duties:
- Build applicant sources by researching and contacting community services, colleges and universities, employment agencies, recruiters, media, and internet sites; providing organization information, opportunities, and benefits; making presentations; maintaining rapport with contact representatives at each.
- Determine applicant requirements by studying job description and job qualifications.
- Attract applicants by calling targeted candidates, placing job advertisements in print and social media, using newsgroups and job sites.
- Analyze background screens, motor vehicle records and verify professional references, comparing qualifications to job requirements.
- Arrange management interviews by coordinating schedules; arranging travel, lodging, and meals; escorting applicants to interviews; arranging property tours.
- Evaluate applicants by discussing job requirements and applicant qualifications with managers, interview applicants on consistent set of qualifications.
- Receive and process applications and resumes; interview job applicants, evaluate applicant qualifications and make recommendations to hiring managers.
- Communicate employer information and benefits during screening process.
- Post positions and manage applications in UKG Recruiting Gateway, following Crescent guidelines on disposition of applicants.
- Administer and maintain spreadsheets and databases to track open positions, applications and offers.
- Act as liaison with universities, colleges, and high schools to develop long-term employment sources. Represent the Resort at career and job fairs.
- Coordinate J1 and H2B visa hiring process through planning with hiring managers and coordination with the approved staffing agencies.
- Attend the weekly Operations meeting to communicate status of open positions, educate managers on proper recruiting processes, and solicit feedback to optimize recruiting efficiency.
- Assist in new associate onboarding.
- Assist in administering the associate referral program.
Employment standards:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Experience in staffing and recruitment; hospitality or F&B recruiting experience valued.
- Experience posting jobs and monitoring employment-related and recruitment activity on a variety of social media sites, such as Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
- Bi-lingual in Spanish a plus.
- Knowledge of federal and state employment laws.
- Telephone skills.
- Interviewing skills.
- High degree of interpersonal skills.
- Requires a working knowledge of Microsoft 360 software programs and systems.
