The Recruiting Assistant is responsible for supporting the daily functions of the recruiting team. The recruitment assistant should be an excellent communicator who works well with a team. They should possess a keen, analytical mind for evaluating candidates based on qualifications and skills to determine if they're good company fit. The position includes coordinating hiring activities, preparing reports, maintaining candidate databases and assisting with onboarding.Schedule:

- Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm (End time is consistent on most days)
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Perform quality work to meet deadlines with or without direct supervision.
- Interact professionally with other employees, customers and vendors.
- Answer and direct telephone calls accordingly.
- Work independently while understanding the need to communicate and coordinate work efforts with other employees and organizations.
- Assist in reviewing and screening candidates.
- Assist in scheduling interviews and communication with candidates.
- Assist in the preparation of periodic reports, including monthly expense reports.
- Assist with employee gifts/appreciation items, including organizing events and distribution.
- Assist with social media content including job postings.
- Maintain an accurate, organized and detailed candidate database.
- Adhere to specific quality, timeline and other performance metrics.
- Review and respond to daily emails.
- Scan and upload documents into HRIS system.
- Conduct market analysis for each job opening to determine pay rates and relevant keywords for advertising.
- Contact candidates to ensure onboarding is completed prior to orientation.
- Present orientation information and assist with onboarding new hires.
- All other duties as assigned.

Requirements:
- Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
- Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail and time management skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; especially in critical conversations
- Ability to make ethical decisions
- Ability to multi-task effectively and work independently
- Strong administrative experience with HR Information System preferred
- Must be knowledgeable and familiar with all aspects of recruiting.
- Knowledge of job boards and social media to reach candidate's
- Knowledge of office equipment including copier, fax machines, computers etc.
- Ability to prioritize workload to meet deadlines
- Must have strong customer service skills
- Ability to travel when needed
