To learn more, visit or follow the company on Instagram and Facebook .Nex is looking for a full-time, short-term contract-based recruiting co-ordinator to help facilitate the short-term hiring needs, with the potential for extension into a longer contract or transition into a full-time role upon demonstration of outstanding performance and cultural fit and continued hiring needs.

  • Hands-on involvement in the recruitment planning phase upon request by hiring manager, including pre-recruitment research on job title, compensation and job specification on the market, and assistance in writing up or reviewing job post.
  • Screening and shortlisting of applications received based on the hiring manager's screening criteria, including conducting first screening on aptitude and suitability upon request by hiring manager.
  • Facilitation and co-ordination of the interview and selection process, including pre-interview planning among interviewers, scheduling of interviews, collection and summarisation of interview feedback and other steps necessary to facilitate the hiring decision making.
  • Responsible for communication with candidates on job application status.
  • Facilitation of the process of making job offer and issuing paperwork upon request by hiring manager.
  • Use Applicant Tracking System (ATS), job boards, social media platforms, and other recruiting software to manage the recruiting pipeline efficiently.
A successful candidate is expected to:
  • be based in the San Francisco Bay Area, California or able to work remotely in North America timezone.
  • have at least 3 years of experience as a recruiter in the US.
  • be proficient in using various tools and systems, including Applicant Tracking System (ATS), job boards, social media platforms, and other recruiting software to manage the recruiting pipeline efficiently.
  • possess high degree of ethnical integrity, maintaining confidentiality, fairness and respect for candidates throughout the recruitment process, and reflecting positively on the company brand and image.
  • be people-oriented, with a single-minded focus on attracting and retaining the best talents, and able to represent and present the company's image, vision and mission befitting the company's actual culture.
  • be self-motivated and organised.
  • be a champion in staying in compliance with relevant employment and recruitment related laws and regulations.
In addition, favourable consideration will be given to candidates who:
  • are experienced in the consumer electronics, retail / e-commerce or game development industries
  • have experience as an in-house recruiter
  • are competent in using data and analytics to evaluate recruitment metrics, eg time-to-hire and cost-per-hire, and making data-driven decisions to improve the recruiting process.
