Responsibilities:

As a Recruiting Coordinator, you will be a subject matter expert and play a pivotal role in ensuring every candidate has an experience thats the Best in Pests.

Hiring Manager Support:

  • Review Orkin job postings (requisitions) and external job boards to ensure we are branding the jobs and the company to attract top talent
  • Own the management of the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) ensuring steady candidate flow
  • Assist the Operations and Support staff as necessary with screening and interviewing, both phone and face-to-face, as needed
  • Maintain an appropriate level of process, program, and policy knowledge in order to assist manager/employees as needed

Recruiting Process Support:

  • Support the recruiting team in the development of creative and strategic recruitment plans using social media campaigns, professional and college-based recruiting sites and events, veteran and diversity hiring initiatives, advanced internet techniques, and networking with internal and external resources
  • Scheduling and conducting pre-screening phone calls with candidates
  • Ability to help maintain a large workload of open requisitions
  • Build Brand Awareness for the Orkin employer brand through innovative channels and messages to reach prospective field candidates across the Division
  • Track the list of the recruitment sources and hiring effectiveness
  • Help to identify gaps in the overall data capture strategy and collaboratively implement enhancements
  • Participate in recruiting strategy sessions and maintain a relationship with sister brands to coordinate efforts
  • Assist with offer letters, scheduling of pre-employment checks, and other onboarding tasks, as needed
  • Provide continuous feedback to management, and partners about trends, processes, and opportunities for improvement
  • Provide operating procedures and online file creation and maintenance as needed
  • Participates in administrative meetings and training sessions as needed
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly reports as needed.
  • Other duties as requested

Qualifications:

What do you need to be successful?

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Ability to pass a drug screen and background check is required
  • Ability to travel on occasion in support of hiring events or division meetings
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Exceptional time management, organizational, prioritization, and follow-up skills
  • Basic computer skills in various software and web-based applications
  • Work effectively in a team environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Strong attention to detail and follow through
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently
