About the Role The Recruiting Coordinator will play a crucial role in identifying and attracting top-tier candidates for various public accounting roles within the organization and our partner firms. This position requires a deep understanding of both accounting functions and the recruiting process. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing creative sourcing strategies to find high-quality talent, maintaining a strong pipeline of qualified candidates, and working closely with hiring managers and recruiters to meet hiring goals. Key Responsibilities
- Proactively identify and engage passive candidates for accounting roles (e.g., Tax. Audit, Accountants, etc.) through online platforms (LinkedIn, job boards, databases), and social media.
- Develop and maintain a talent pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future accounting roles. Build long-term relationships with potential candidates.
- Conduct initial resume screenings and preliminary interviews to assess candidate qualifications, skills, and culture fit.
- Assist with scheduling interviews and coordinating with hiring manager calendars.
- Onboard new hires in the system and work closely with the HR team to ensure the firm is providing a positive candidate onboarding experience.
- Work closely with the recruiting team and hiring managers to understand the specific requirements of each position, including technical skills, experience, and certifications.
- Actively promote the company's values, culture, and opportunities to attract high-quality accounting talent. Share company updates and news via social media and professional networks.
- Stay up to date with trends in accounting, compensation, competitor hiring, and industry shifts. Provide insights on market conditions and salary trends to inform recruiting strategies.
- Maintain accurate records of candidate interactions, activities, and progress using the Applicant Tracking System (ATS). Provide regular updates to the recruiting team on sourcing progress.
What you'll need:Basic Qualifications:
- 1-3 years of sourcing experience, ideally within finance or accounting recruitment.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
- Familiarity with accounting roles and qualifications (CPA, CIA, EA, etc.). Understanding of accounting principles is a plus.
- Proficient in using LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), and other sourcing tools. Experience with Boolean searches.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage and attract passive candidates.
- Ability to manage multiple sourcing projects simultaneously, with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work closely with recruiters, HR, and hiring managers in a fast-paced environment.
