We are BIG ENOUGH TO SERVE, and SMALL ENOUGH TO CARESummary: The recruiting coordinator is responsible for supporting the recruiting process from start to finish. You will ensure that candidates and hiring managers have a good experience throughout the process and that the company meets its hiring goals. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Personally exhibits, recruits and coaches associates consistent with Core Behaviors
  • Responsible for promoting culture of safety
  • Screens resumes, interviews candidates by phone or in person to ascertain suitability for role and makes recommendations for hiring a candidate
  • Sources candidates using a variety of methods including advertising, online job board searches, networking, social media or blogs to ensure proper saturation for quality resumes.
  • Attend job fairs and actively recruit from technical schools and other learning institutions.
  • Reviews all job requisitions with the hiring manager for a clear understanding of hiring needs.
  • Administration of pre-hire functions, including background checks, drug screens and offers of employment.
  • Follows up in a timely manner to ensure the hiring manager and candidate experience is great and seamless.
  • Conducts new hire onboarding for new employees and verifies all documents provided.
  • Develops innovative solutions to enhance recruitment efforts.
  • Establishes relationships with hiring managers to ensure a trusting and collaborative working relationship.
  • Assists with contract administration for temporary employees provided by staffing agencies; works with agencies when appropriate to fill vacancies.
  • Tracks employee referral program.
  • Maintains and analyzes monthly and quarterly recruiting metrics for time to fill, agency effectiveness and agency cost.
  • Identifies process improvement areas and solutions.
  • Oversees and tracks all candidates through the new hire onboarding processes and enters in HRIS system.
  • Performs special projects and assignments as directed.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, outgoing, friendly, and professional.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task in fast-paced environment
  • Must be proficient with basic computer operation and knowledgeable about position- specific programs (Excel in particular)
  • Results driven
  • Knowledgeable with the employment laws & hiring
  • Experience with HRIS system & Applicant Tracking System a plus.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • No direct supervisory responsibilities
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or relevant field preferred
  • 1-3 years of experience in Human Resources / Recruiting
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
  • PHR or SPHR preferred
