The purpose of the Recruiting Manager is to support Recruiters in improving their skills to drive all aspects of connecting people to meaningful work and provide exceptional customer service to our candidates and clients. This role will be accountable for implementing and holding KPI alignment to the staff as well as identifying training content to improve performance; also responsible for forging a close partnership with local and regional leaders to identify root cause issues in current delivery strategy and identify opportunities for improvement.
Making an Impact
Directly manage, coach, and develop Recruiters to increase the number of associates out, generate incremental revenue, and expand market share (typical span of control is 10+ direct reports).
Lead a team of Recruiters on the adoption of best practices, recruitment strategies, technology and tools to improve performance.
Build recruitment strategy for clients in the assigned market
Develop and ensure execution of the markets plan for delivery, retention, and engagement.
Work with direct reports to develop sourcing strategy where there are gaps between KPI targets and results.
Encourage collaboration among the team, including opportunities to share candidates or talent pools.
Identify gaps in current skills, knowledge and capabilities and support in the creation of a customized improvement plan, leveraging content from PowerYou.
Partner closely with leadership to identify root cause issues in current delivery strategy and recommend areas of improvement at program level.
Ensure the delivery team is effectively executing the Consultant redeployment strategy to ensure retention of top talent.
Conduct quarterly and annual employment reviews based on scorecard performance measurements.
Analyze, develop, recommend, and implement recruitment strategies.
Maintains team or account specific tools and templates that drive recruiting best practices (interview guides, note templates, etc.)
Sharing Expertise
Leverage industry experience and knowledge to identify staffing trends
Lead team of Recruiters on the adoption of best practices, recruitment strategies, technology, and tools to improve performance.
Gaining Exposure
Partner with Recruiting Director(s), Managing Director, and peers to anticipate demand and overall fulfilment trends in the market
Act as delivery SME and partner with the Sales Team to effectively present Experis delivery capabilities to clients.
Your Typical Day
Coach and mentor direct reports, including onboarding and ongoing development
Analyze and draw insights on recruiter performance data, creating action plans to address deficiencies where needed
Ensure KPIs are being met on a daily basis and also validate quality and compliance expectations are met
Meet one on one with direct reports that are struggling to fill their roles to offer suggestions and support
Anticipate change in demand to ensure recruiters time is fully allocated
Review capacity to ensure requisitions are appropriately distributed amongst the team, contacting Managing Director in cases where redistribution should be considered
Build recruitment strategy for clients in the assigned market
Other accountabilities as assigned.
Required
5+ years of Recruiting experience in a service industry or equivalent within staffing/workforce solutions industry.
Education: Bachelors degree or equivalent
Nice to Have
Management: 2+ years demonstrated managerial and operational experience
Industry knowledge: In-depth knowledge and experience of one or more practices.
