Responsibilities: Primary focus on Campus recruiting activities in the Southeast region (60%) to include:
- Coordinating logistical details around campus recruiting for the Southeast Region, maintaining and updating a schedule of campus events, assessing and providing qualified candidates for internships and entry-level roles throughout the region.
- Working with Houston Corporate office and the Campus Recruiting Lead to ensure all materials for campus recruiting events (job fairs and socials) are available and delivered on-time to the event location.
- Working with Southeast leadership teams to determine which events to attend as well as the list of event attendees.
- Providing pre-event training/orientation to event attendees
- Personally attending and working all or most of the campus events, escalating the review of qualified candidates for internships and entry-level positions.
- Providing prompt feedback to candidates, schedule interviews with hiring managers, and process offers.
- Providing ad hoc and scheduled reports on campus recruiting metrics, including tracking which schools, events, and other sources provide the most value.
- Aligning with campus lead on other processes related to campus activities.
- Recommending ideas related to process improvement for campus activities and processes
- Providing check-ins on Company interns and new hire graduates
- Maintaining communications with SE leaders regarding campus hiring needs and the performance of campus hires
Secondary Focus on assisting with experienced hire recruiting in the Southeast usually during campus recruiting off-season (40%):
- Assist recruiters with sourcing for candidates for experienced-hire positions
- Ensure Job Ads are current and relevant
- Set up interviews with prospective candidates
- Process offers
- Provide pre-hire and onboarding assistance, including running background and drug tests.
- Run ad hoc and regular reports.
- Assist Director of Recruiting with TA process-improvement, ATS implementation, and research of new tools to enhance recruiting performance as needed.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Previous experience (1+ year) as a recruiting coordinator or recruiting assistant in a corporate environment.
- Experience with Campus Recruiting activities and logistics is highly preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with others
- Strong technical capability, including strong MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), the ability to produce reports from scratch, and an aptitude to quickly learn and use various recruiting systems (ATS, LinkedIn Recruiter, etc).
- Willingness and ability to travel as needed (up to 50% expected).
- Willingness and ability to be in the office when not travelling.
- Local candidates preferred.
