This is not a remote opportunity.Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities:
- Confers with management and supervisors to identify personnel needs, job specifications, job duties, qualifications and skills
- Strategically sources, interviews, and screens both technical and non-technical candidates to fill available company openings
- Develop and cultivate relationships with national universities, DE&I organizations and professional societies to develop a pipeline of candidates
- Writes job descriptions and reviews or edits existing job descriptions
- Reviews applications and interviews applicants both in-person and virtually to gather information regarding education, experience, training, job skills, and salary requirements and provides information
- Provides information to candidates regarding company history, services and job opportunities to potential candidates
- Develops recruitment programs including managing the internet and social media recruitment strategy and continually searches for new avenues to recruit quality passive and active candidates
- Verifies credentials, initiates background checks and schedules follow-up interviews with company supervisors and managers
- Assists with verifying references as needed
- Schedules travel and lodging accommodations for interviewing applicants
- Ensures adherence to all equal employment opportunity (EEO) legislation, the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), and other government compliance requirements
- Maintains necessary documentation regarding applications, interviews, and candidate screening procedures
- Regular and predictable physical presence in the office with the ability to consider a hybrid work environment after the first year
Position Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree
- Three years of technical recruiting experience preferred
- High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel; PowerPoint) and Outlook
- Thorough knowledge of EEO laws, ADA, and other government employment compliance regulations that affect candidate recruitment
- Excellent interviewing and recruiting skills
- Exemplary writing and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to apply critical thinking to improve the recruitment and candidate search process
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to spend lengthy amounts of time talking on the phone
- Ability to work at a workstation for extended periods of time
- Ability to drive to drive and/or fly to network or interviewing locations
- Ability to lift 20 lbs.
- Ability to effectively communicate with colleagues and clients
- Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and varying deadlines
- Ability to accept and integrate constructive feedback into job performance
- Ability to maneuver around the office
- Ability to use a computer/keyboard
