Overview of the Recruiting Specialist Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and necessary qualifications for open positions
- Maintain job postings and talent pipeline, following up with applicants and leadership about the pipeline status regularly
- Attend job fairs and other staffing events to continuously attract a variety of diverse talent
- Conduct phone screens, schedule and conduct interviews
- Coordinate background checks, drug screens, and new hire orientation
- Process onboarding paperwork and build offer letters
Preferred Qualifications for the Recruiting Specialist:
- Associate's or bachelor's degree in human resources or a related field
- Two years of recruiting experience
- Proficiency with ATS and major job boards
- Highly effective communication and relationship-building skills
- Understanding of labor and employment laws and regulations
Location: This role is 100% onsite in Niles, MI
Salary: $40,500 - $50,750 depending on experience
