Barbier Security Group (BSG) is a rapidly growing Bay Area based security services company. Founded in 2007 Barbier Security Group has been tasked with providing custom protective security programs for individuals, government organizations and private companies.We are seeking an in-office, full-time experienced Recruiting Specialist to support our full cycle hiring efforts of our growing company. The right candidate will have experience recruiting for high volume businesses focusing preferably on the Security Services Industry, with Customer Service, Retail or Hospitality industries as a plus. Must love to interview and have hiring platform full cycle experience.If you are a results-driven organized professional with a positive attitude, and can multitask in a fast paced environment, and you are looking to contribute to the success of our organization - we'd like to meet you!Hourly Rate: $27.00 - $32.00 per hourLocation: In-Office position, Novato, Ca (Non-remote)Priority will be given to applicants currently residing within a reasonable commute to our Novato office.Responsibilities and Duties:
  • Provide an efficient and high-touch experience for every candidate from application stage, interview and Orientation
  • Work as a team meeting operational hiring goals and deadlines: Expedite candidate application process with urgency by efficient resume review and screening applicants, scheduling of interviews and discernment during placement
  • Request and complete timely reference checks
  • Administrative duties (ex: answering applicant emails, incoming calls, record and file maintenance, etc..)
  • Schedule interviews and keep calendars for all hiring teams and candidates
  • Assist with processing background checks, I9 compliance
  • Maintain project databases and software (Greenhouse, Indeed, Google Suite, Asana etc..)
  • Assist with pre/post-onboarding duties (ex: preparing uniforms, coordinating New Hire orientation agendas, correspondence)
  • Communicate effectively and exchange information with the Recruiting team, HR, Operations and management team on a daily basis
  • Prepare and participate in Virtual Recruiting events and in-person job fairs
  • Assist with additional HR and Operational tasks as needed
Skills/Qualifications:
  • Proven experience: (2yrs + preferred) in a Recruiting role, high volume hiring a must
  • AA degree or higher
  • Strong organizational, time management and follow up skills
  • Ability to present for New Hire Orientations
  • Knowledge of the stages of Recruiting processes (screening, interview, assessment, job offer and Orientation)
  • Proven ability to identify skills and potential fit when screening Security applicants
  • Proficient in navigating recruiting software and platforms such as Greenhouse, Indeed, LinkedIn, Cal Jobs, Google suite etc..
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Must have a friendly demeanor: ability interact professionally both on the phone and in person with customers and applicants
  • Outstanding communication skills with proven ability to take initiative and build positive, productive relationships
  • Problem-solving ability
  • Ability to thrive in a fast pace environment and multi-task with ease
  • Must be able to commute M-F to office in Marin County - work is 8hr shifts. May include some weekends
