Learn more at www.aquatech.com Aquatech has an immediate need for a full-time Recruitment and Engagement Specialist to work in our Canonsburg, PA office. The hours are Monday - Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. This role will report to the Human Resource Manager. This person will help to source candidates, build influential candidate relationships during the selection process, and oversee the new employee integration along with enhancing the overall experience of current Aquatech employees within the company. Qualifications / Education Requirements:
  • A bachelor's degree in human resources or a related field or equivalent work experience is required.
  • A minimum of two years of related experience is required.
Core Responsibilities:
  • Collaborates with HR Generalist and department managers to identify and draft accurate job descriptions and hiring criteria.
  • Identifies efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the available role, industry standards, and the organization's needs.
  • Manage job postings, proactive candidate searches and outreach, engage managers in the search and pipeline, and proactively source candidates.
  • Assists with job posting and advertisement processes on various sites such as Linked In, indeed, Zip Recruiter.
  • Work with hiring managers to data mine and directly connect and recommend candidates via social media.
  • Screens applications and selects qualified candidates.
  • Schedules interviews; oversees preparation of interview questions, and other hiring and selection materials.
  • Assists with the interview process, attending and conducting interviews with managers, and other stakeholders.
  • Collaborates with the hiring manager and/or other human resource staff during the offer process.
  • Coordinate and conduct the onboarding process, helping them to become fully integrated.
  • Develop and implement initiatives that contribute to a positive experience during a new employee's first year.
  • Responsible for creating a positive and engaging work environment that fosters employee satisfaction, productivity, performance, development, and retention.
  • Conducts regular stay and exit surveys and assessments to measure employee satisfaction and engagement.
  • Analyzes feedback to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies.
  • Involvement in activities that foster team cohesion and a sense of community.
  • Contribute to various HR-related projects and processes.
  • Assist in the administration and support of other HR duties, policies, and programs.
  • Perform other duties as needed.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, & Outlook.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong proofreading skills, and the ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Must have analytical skills with great attention to detail.
  • Must have the ability to work independently or in a team with strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Hands-on experience with HRIS and/or ATS systems.
  • Must protect and maintain confidentiality without compromise.
  • Detailed understanding of professional social media resources (Linked In).
  • Must possess extremely high ethical standards, and the ability to maintain confidentiality of all data and files.
  • Should be detail-oriented, thorough, and enjoy taking initiative.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Familiarity with laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to hiring and recruitment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact and build meaningful relationships with associates at all levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze data, identify trends, and propose actionable solutions.
  • May develop and conduct related programs to build and maintain a culture of continuous process improvement.
