In collaboration with the Human Resources, Deans, Program Chairs, and supporting departments, this position is responsible for the coordination of activities related to the recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and continuing support for full-time and adjunct faculty.Under the direction of the Vice Chancellor of Human Resources, the successful incumbent will implement strategies and processes to support Ivy Tech's goal of attracting and hiring the best available candidates in a timely, service-oriented manner. This position has a specific focus on positions on programs that support Career and Technical Education.The incumbent will also manage the candidate experience from initial contact through onboarding, as well as providing continued support throughout faculty careers.This is a grant funded position. Continuation of the position is contingent upon availability of future grant funding. The current grant ends 6/30/2026 and there is no guarantee for employment beyond this date, however the grant is renewable based on the success of the position.
Major Responsibilities: Work collaboratively with Human Resources, Academic Affairs Leadership, the Vice Chancellor of Ivy+ Careerlink, and other relevant parties to recruit and hire excellent full-time and adjunct faculty candidates Assist in processing and updating documentation of teaching credentials Assist with faculty onboarding Support and collaborate with academic affairs leadership in the integration of newly hired faculty into the college learning community Develop and maintain digital records as needed by the campus and systems office Provide support for faculty teaching during weekend and evening hours, as required. Assist in facilitation of faculty-led professional development events Coordinate with educational technology to ensure proper onboarding of learning management system training.
