We aim to have a leadership and workforce that is reflective of the communities we work in partnership with.BenefitsFlexible working options; generous Paid Time Off; up to 14 paid holidays per year; medical dental and vision coverage available the month after hire; life insurance; 403b with employer matching and health savings accounts; wellness programs, healthy lifestyle incentives and employee assistance programsCompensation$19.50 - $21.70 per hourOffers based on education and years of relevant experienceLocationLockport Campus of New Directions Youth & Family ServicesProfessional Development OpportunitiesNew View Alliance has a strong investment in developing the future leaders of the organization through trainings, advancement opportunities, and a formal leadership pipeline.Primary ResponsibilitiesOversee external advertising by writing creative and persuasive job ads for all open positionsWork closely with hiring supervisors and HR Director to determine the most appropriate placement of job ads while optimizing agency budgetsPerform first review of all qualified applicants and interns and conduct pre-screen interviews for assigned positionsProvide outreach to area colleges and employment/training centers to drive awareness of employment and internship opportunitiesRepresent New View Alliance and its member agencies at all external recruitment events (i.e. career and college fairs)Ensure collaboration among Human Resources team and hiring supervisors across both Agencies to determine the best fit of all qualified candidates being consideredAssist with the completion of reference checksExtend offers of employment and notification to applicants and interns not being selectedAdvise and collaborate with hiring supervisors to ensure the effective use and status of candidates in Agency Applicant Tracking SystemParticipate in committee meetings that focus on recruitment and retention initiativesAssist as needed with the interview process for positions, as assignedMaintain a standard operating procedural manual of duties and keeps it up to dateStay up to date on changes in recruitment best practices to ensure effective use of Agency fundsFulfill other duties as assignedRequired QualificationsSelf-motivated and detail oriented with excellent verbal and communication skillsExperience working with Applicant Tracking SystemsStrong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage candidates and community contacts from a variety of cultural and ethnic backgroundsAssociate's Degree in Human Resources or related field and 1 year of relevant experienceCurrent NYS Driver's LicensePreferred QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Human ResourcesWe want to emphasize that the preferred qualifications are not required and that we are committed to helping our future colleagues develop these preferred skills.
