This will be achieved through the development of local and national recruiting plans, employing traditional sourcing strategies and resources as well as developing new, creative recruiting ideas. The corporate recruiter will play a critical role in ensuring the Company is hiring the best possible talent. What does your day look like? Some of your duties may include: •Pre-hire/onboarding process
- Efficiently and effectively fill open positions.
- Determine qualified applicants by screening resumes, interviewing applicants; analyzing responses; verifying references; comparing qualifications to job requirements.
- Make recommendations for hire and arrange interviews with management.
- Follow up with candidates and hiring managers to ensure information is updated on the interview process status.
- Manage the pre-hire process to include: background check, motor vehicle report (MVR), pre-placement drug screening.
- Prepare new hire paperwork ensuring legislation requirements are met
- Perform and assist with orientation and training
•Provides support coordination of recruitment projects and related services to hiring managers and the HR team. •Participates in and provides analytical support in the design, development, and implementation of recruitment projects and programs. •Serves as point of contact for the provision of consultative to hiring managers •Manage and maintain candidate activity through the Applicant Tracking System (ATS). •Attend job fairs and other events to find qualified passive candidates •Perform other special projects as assigned. Things you need to be able to do: •Excellent communication skills, as the position frequently conducts interviews and maintains contact with applicants. •Strong interviewing skills are a must. •Must be organized as deal with multiple candidates across a variety of job openings. •Demonstrates time management skills and has a high level of motivation. •Ability to follow directions and meet deadlines in fast-paced environment. Things that are a plus: •At a minimum, must have at least two years related recruiting experience. •Microsoft Office, knowledge of Paycom a plus but not required. •HRIS experience. •Bachelors degree preferred.
