Responsibilities The George Washington University Hospital (GW Hospital) continues to be a leader in providing the highest level of quality and compassionate healthcare for the D.C. Region. Position Summary This is a great role for a person seeking a career in Human Resources. The ideal candidate will want to learn and engage with new hires, managers, and colleagues to ensure each new hire has the very best on-boarding experience. Acts as first point of contact for on-boarding. Provides administrative duties that support the day-to-day functions and strategic initiatives of the organization. Ensure that new hires successfully complete all background checks to ensure the competency of staff to delliver patient care of the highest quality. Qualifications Qualifications
  • 2-4 years of experience working in a staffing or human resources department
  • HS diploma required, Bachelor degree preferred
  • Program coordination, facilitation and training experience preferred
  • Experience with Applicant Tracking Software and other databases
Skills
  • Keen attention to detail, and unsatisfied with status quo
  • Continually seeks process improvement activities
  • Very Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and Power-point
