Position SummaryThe Recruitment Coordinator oversees and implements all membership recruitment initiatives throughout assigned regional areas, working closely with volunteers, community leads, school administration, and additional youth organizations. Focusing on both increased volunteer and girl membership, the Recruitment Coordinator will work collaboratively and strategically with all key stakeholders to drive prospect interest and enrollment while demonstrating a strong sense of belonging for all.At Girl Scouts of Eastern Missouri, most of our roles work in a hybrid capacity (in office, remote, and/or in the field). Details will be provided during the interview process.The position is full time with a competitive hiring salary range of $50,673 - $59,540.Essential Job DutiesAdhere to national and local Girl Scout policies, standards, and procedures.Research market data and other pertinent information to become knowledgeable about demographics, community needs and possibilities for girl and adult recruitment.Conduct recruitment activity and enrollment within existing territories, focus on customer service, and develop relationships with prospective girls.Build and maintain strong collaborative partnerships with guidance counselors and other key constituents to understand and respond to prospective girls' needs.Develop and maintain relationships with all stakeholders to recruit girls such as churches, community organizations, and other community-driven recruitment sites at other non-profit or governmental organizations.Create and implement short- and long-term strategies for the recruitment and retention of new girls and adult membership.Continually promote membership opportunities for girls and adults. Hold community recruitment events for registration of girl and adult members.Represent and promote Girl Scouting in the community and build community awareness by highlighting benefits of membership to the public.Complete all required documentation in an accurate, thorough, and timely manner.Maintain records of prospect interactions, membership status, and recruitment activities in CRM.Create reports on recruitment efforts, market share, and conversion rates to evaluate the effectiveness of recruitment strategies.Use data to identify recruitment opportunities, trends, and areas for improvement with assigned age/troop level.Serve as liaison for connections between prospective members and volunteers and appropriate staff.Understand the lead role that recruitment plays in a workgroup and collaborate with other members of the team.Demonstrate consistently a climate of courtesy, respect, and professionalism to staff, volunteers, and the general public.Travel as needed throughout Council jurisdiction.Perform other duties as required and/or assigned.QualificationsBachelor's degree in relevant field or equivalent experience required.One (1) to three (3) years of recruitment or relevant sales and event planning experience preferred.Proficiency in a second language preferred.Valid state driver's license, proof of insurance, and a driving record that is acceptable to our insurance carrier.Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesKnowledge of recruitment and enrollment strategies and best practices.Knowledge of territory management and strategic recruitment planning practices and procedures.Ability to manage processes and meet deadlines.Proficient in Microsoft Office programs, CRM systems (such as SLATE and Salesforce), and other general office equipment.Strong strategic planning and goal-setting abilities.Organized thinker with exceptional attention to detail.Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing.Ability to effectively organize and prioritize work as well as concentrate on multiple tasks simultaneously.Ability to work independently within a strong teamwork philosophy toward common goals.Ability to work well in a fast-paced, dynamic organization.Ability to work a flexible schedule (days, evenings, weekends) and travel throughout the jurisdiction using personal automobile for work purposes.Physical DemandsWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee must be able to remain in a stationary position 75% of the time operating a computer or an automobile. Frequently operates a computer and other office productivity machinery such as a calculator, copier, and computer printer. Occasionally positions self to maintain files in file cabinets. May need to move boxes weighing up to 25 pounds across office for various needs. The ability to observe details at close range and at a distance. Is required to drive/ operate an automobile.Work EnvironmentConstantly works in an indoor professional office environment.
